I hope everyone is having a great summer! I know mine’s been hectic, jammed-packed, and AWESOME. I saw three of my best friends get married this summer♥, been camping a few times, and lots of lazy pool time. I live and thrive in the summer… I may as well be a reptile.

Given that it’s prime berry-picking season, I figured that cobbler would be the perfect showcase for those amazing summer fruits. Sadly, the fresh berries I had got eaten before I could get this one photographed. Therefore, I had to use frozen fruit today! But the fantastic part about this cobbler is that you can swap frozen for fresh and vice versa. Today I used mixed berries, but this recipe also works fantastic with other fruits – sub in to your heart’s delight! Click through to follow along!

Bruschetta, inside a quesadilla, I’ll give that a moment to sink in…

This is now probably one of my all time favourite drinks from Starbucks. Unfortunately, it is not my wallet’s favourite. So, I had to make some kind of compromise for myself: I had to make it at home! Click on through for the recipe – this one is easier than you think!

OKAY I KNOW IT’S SUMMER, BUT BEAR WITH ME. I enjoy hot beverages all year round, I love chocolate, and my air conditioning is absolutely cranking out the chilliest air (it’s 38°C with the humidex, what even is that?). But for me, hot chocolate mix is usually too sweet, plus it’s full of a whole bunch of stuff I just don’t need to be consuming when I could be making it myself. The only equipment you’re going to need is a microwave – TRUST. Click through to follow along! Continue reading “Homemade Hot Chocolate”
Let me just say that these chicken meatballs are my new favourite thing.

So for some reason, I managed to go some time without eating pasta. Which is weird for me, considering that at least 50% of my body is pasta. Have I mentioned I love pasta? In the spirit of meal prep this week, I decided to bring back one of my favourite foods (PASTA.) with some smokey sausage, crisp veggies, and a silky rose sauce that I have been dying for all week. Click on through for how to make this dish! Continue reading “Creamy Sausage and Tomato Pasta”
This recipe came out of a mystery box challenge, but more on that later 😉

I’ve got to admit, I’m not always the most faithful meal prepper. Despite having the best intentions, I really struggle to a) get food prepped ahead of time (especially when my bed and my PJs are calling my name…) and b) to eat the same thing all week long. BUT with a busy schedule like mine, I have to find time to get it done. This is a quick, satisfying meal that I cooked in less than 30 minutes (save for the marinade!). Click through to read more!
