My favourite thing to do is going to the market, walking around, seeing all the vendors, and stopping for some fresh rolls, maybe some tea as well! There’s a great vendor at the local market that makes great fresh rolls! But then, it dawned on me, why am I not making these at home?!

Holy moly are these little suckers ever delicious. This is something I grew up with – my mum used to make these every summer when I was little, and I can’t begin to tell you how bad I crave them some days. The sweet, tender zucchini paired with the crisp breading is absolutely to die for. Add a little bit of dip – say, a cajun sour cream, like we made this time – and you are in heaven. Sometimes I just want to run over to the mall and get a soft, doughy, delicious, soft pretzel, especially when it’s a week like this one… BUSY.

And while that is the easy way out, I take pride in knowing I can make the same thing at home. Especially when it’s as good as this!
