Given that it’s prime berry-picking season, I figured that cobbler would be the perfect showcase for those amazing summer fruits. Sadly, the fresh berries I had got eaten before I could get this one photographed. Therefore, I had to use frozen fruit today! But the fantastic part about this cobbler is that you can swap frozen for fresh and vice versa. Today I used mixed berries, but this recipe also works fantastic with other fruits – sub in to your heart’s delight! Click through to follow along!

First of all, FOOD PUNS. Second of all, this is my official “I have to get up at 4:15 tomorrow morning” meal. I prepped it the night before, and the texture was PERFECT the next morning. So creamy and delicious and SATISFYING. Not to mention this whole recipe has literally two steps, and one of them is putting the finished product into your facehole. So these started as a try at those fancy “energy balls” I’ve been seeing all over Pinterest. They are these naturally sweetened, nutritious balls of goodness that are supposed to be a nice filling snack, or even a pre-workout supplement, meant to give you a little kick of energy. But these…these are something more…decadent. Luxurious. Luscious, even. If you like eating chocolate, but not the stomach ache from overdoing it, click on through to the recipe!

Let’s talk Starbucks. I do love me a tasty Starbucks beverage every once in a while (
okay, so, I may or may not have a gold card that is currently good through 2018, that’s how much…). A few weeks ago, this secret menu item made the internet explode, so I figured I needed to get on the band wagon and try this thing out. It’s a Strawberry Acaí Refresher (or Very Berry Hibiscus, if you’re in Canada) with the water subbed for coconut milk. AND HOLY SMOKES IS IT GOOD. But being that some days I don’t feel like splurging for my fix, I decided to experiment at home a little, and I actually came up with a few delicious combinations. It’s time to change things up a bit from another food post and talk about our favourite drink…wine! Red, white, rose, expensive, or from a box, we just loooveee wine, and nothing is better than sitting poolside day drunk on some delicious peach sangria. See how we make it right here!

First things first. Throughout the entire writing of this post, I had Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl” stuck in my head. Because if you spell “bananas” out without singing that part of the song, then you’re a liar.
This is one of my favourite go-to healthy desserts. It’s especially interesting for me, because I hate yellow and spotted bananas. But this recipe? Deliciousness. Click on through to join me on this warm, caramelized, delicious adventure.

So let me be the first to say “OH MAN!” about these breakfast jars. I am always on the look out for ways to transport healthy, filling foods, and this recipe did NOT disappoint me. I was full from 6:30 am to 1:30 pm, and I am an eating machine. Thanks to some cinnamon vanilla steel cut oats (the same as the Chocolate Steel Cut Oats, but without the chocolate and with vanilla and cinnamon, of course), Nutella, almond butter, and chia jam. Now I know what you’re thinking. “T, I don’t know how to make chia jam.” Well strap in, my friend, because I am about to take you on a ride. Click on through to join me. So my sister recently discovered this blog – apparently I forgot to tell her about it? I feel like maybe she had forgotten, but I won’t take it personally ahaha. My sister is an absolute Queen of Baking, and it’s been a long time since we’ve lived under the same roof and I could enjoy that fact via eating everything in sight. So today my sister decided to make these amazing blueberry pie bars by Averie Cooks – click on through to follow us on this delicious adventure.

So I had been looking for something that was filling but healthy for breakfast. Something that would keep me full until lunch time, and would keep me away from too many naughty snacks (read: 10:00 am Miss Vickies binges). BUT I wanted to make sure that it also tasted good. Because no one wants to eat anything that isn’t delicious. Enter steel cut oats… Click through to join me on this delicious adventure.
